During the event, the organizers had drew attention to all participants that since last few months, the Indian government has blockade of supplying many basic essential materials such as petroleum products, gas, and medication and so on from India and other countries using their transportation routes to Nepal. So, the key goal of the celebration was not only promoting Human Rights Issues, but also bringing awareness to the people of Canada that Nepalese people in Nepal are suffering by the blocked of India and violating huge amount of International treaty.

Furthermore, after many years of political ups and downs of Nepal’s political scenario, finally on September 20, 2015, the government of Nepal declared its first ever people’s constitution. It is unclear about India’s intention to blockade to Nepal and sealed its border to bring very basic supplies form India and other countries. People of Nepal are suffering heavily as in a humanitarian crises in present situation. Of course, it is a part of Human Rights violation by a country to another country.

This event found capable and efficient to express professional and diplomatic frustration of Indian action while celebrating the International Human rights day. Our reporter has spoted a quality participants of key activist living in different cities of GTA and beyond, eventhough the program venue was the city of Mississauga.
