Stephen Harper confirmed : No jobs that local unemployed Canadians available to do is available for foreigners

Stephen Harper  said Canada will not allow a “permanent underclass” of foreign workers filling jobs with no hope of citizenship adding that will not going to be a Canadian policy.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper, with Philippine President Benigno Aquino in Ottawa Friday, says the government doesn’t want immigrants taking jobs that unemployed Canadians are available to do.

Ottawa Aug 07 Friday, speaking with with Philippine President Benigno Aquino  Prime Minister Stephen Harper clarified that Canadian Government doesn’t want immigrants taking jobs that unemployed Canadians are available to do.

Responding to Filipino journalist, Harper said “When people come to this country to work and to work long term, they should have the ability to move towards being permanent citizens of this country. This country is not going to have a policy, as long as I’m prime minister, where we will have a permanent underclass of temporary, people who are so-called temporary, but here forever with no rights of citizenship and no rights of mobility.
